Early Intervention

Early Intervention Services (EI) – are provided to infants and toddlers (birth through two years of age) to enhance their development and learning as well as to enhance the capacity of families to support their children’s well-being.  In Colorado the overall system of early intervention is known as Early Intervention Colorado.  The Division for Developmental Disabilities maintains a website at www.eicolorado.org which serves as a central directory of information and resources for all components of the early intervention system.  It includes links to local contacts and resources, directories of service agencies, laws and regulations, links to other websites, information specifically for families, early intervention professionals and referral sources, public reports on the performance of each Community Centered Boards (CCBs), and various documents and publications.  To visit the Early Intervention Colorado website click here.
